Legislative leaders and senior officials from Governor Christie's administration will talk about issues affecting your business and answer your questions.
Healthcare Policy speakers include: Tom Considine, Commissioner of Banking & Insurance; Loretta Weinberg, Senate Health Committee Chairwoman; Tom Kean, Senate Republican Leader; Gary Schaer, Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee Chairman.
This event will be held from 7:45 am until 10:00 am at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, near Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike. The cost to attent this event is $79 per person for NJBIA members and $129 for non-members.

In 2008, New Jersey was the sixth largest state exporter of products and services to Saudi Arabia, exporting $589.8 million. The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) and the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce are collaborating to provide an opportunity for U.S. companies to learn about the $1.3 trillion worth of commercial opportunities available in Saudi Arabia. Morning and afternoon sessions include presentations and conversations with a group of U.S. and Saudi government officials and senior executives that have experience doing business in the Kingdom.

The first 2010 Middlesex County Speed Networking Event will be held on March 16, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center at 3050 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ (at the Raritan Center). Registration will be limited to 2 people per business. The formal speed networking session starts at 5:30 p.m. sharp. It is recommended that you arrive as early at 5:15. The second networking portion will be 6:30-7:30; celebrating St. Patrick's Day!! Members of participating chambers, Edison, Metuchen and Piscataway/Middlesex/So. Plainfield: $20. The Edison Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 13th Annual Taste of Middlesex on March 22, 2010 at the Pines Manor from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Restaurants and caterers and beverage distributors from around the Central New Jersey area will showcase sample of fine foods and drinks. Unprecedented, the Edison Fire and Police Departments will participate in a cook off! The Mistress of Ceremony is Roxanne Evans, Anchorwoman with News 12 New Jersey. Over 50 vendors participated in past Taste events. This is 2 1/2 hours of grazing! Tickets: $45 per person; at the door $50; Seniors over 65-$35; Group of 10 or more - $40. Please no jeans and sneakers! The $45 ticket can be ordered online. Call the office to purchase senior and group tickets, or email requests to president@edisonchamber.com. Event sponsors welcome: $500 to $2500. Call for benefits of sponsorship. Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards accepted. A portion of the proceeds fund the chamber's scholarship to MCC students.
